At Today's City Commission Meeting We had our second reading of an ordinance for the expanding of Alcohol Sales in Belleview to include Booze in Bars , restaurants pubs etc. on Sunday from 7 am to 2 am Monday morning. Almost everyone at the meeting was Opposed.
DID it matter? Not really, not for two of the commissioners at least, and one who was willing to bend a little on hard liquor in bars.
The Mayor, Steve Bairstow, Commission-ess Paula Chaffin and Commissioner Ken Nadeau, all Voted FOR EXPANDING the SALE FOR CONSUMPTION ON PREMISIS of Booze on Sunday, ( Ken Being the one willing to limit hard liquor; however he was over ridden by Belleview's Mayor.
The Following is far from Scientific however anyone who attended the Meeting this evening will see the point..... If Corrections need to be made or if anyone sees where I have made a clear error in my observations please let me know.
Thanks..
